There is very little information in this book for the price. While we did take some of her tips, I think it would have been worth it to buy a whole guidebook for a few more $. The other review stating that some things were incorrect in the book are correct. The restaurant Taverna Aeolos is actually on the road that goes to the lighthouse and you do not pass it going to Red Beach. It is totally worth seeking out, however, we loved it and ate there twice. Also, wonder why she wouldn't suggest going out to the lighthouse while you're right there. The view is amazing!Product details

Santorini Travel Guide Unanchor Santorini Greece in 3 Days Living like a Local eBook Megan Magee Unanchor Reviews
Delightful pedanticly written. Good primer and guidebook.
Used this for my trip through Santorini with my girlfriend. Chock full of fun things to do for three days...we wished we had another two to explore everything in here. Magee's guide allowed us to stumble upon some fantastic eateries and romantic spots. She seemed to have a deep knowledge of the island and appreciation for Greek culture. The maps and pictures make the visit so easy and take you to more off-the-beaten-path spots like a must-see winery in Exo Gonia village. Don't cheat yourself of an amazing time in Santorini and download this E-book.
I have used this itinerary in Santorini this past June with great success. Each day is planned out for you with budget, mid-range, and luxury dining and activity options. The adventures offered like visiting a local less-traveled winery, viewing the best sunset the island has to offer in Oia, and taking a small ship to hike the island's volcano were irreplaceable for my family. We were able to take several food adventures, cultural, and architectural adventures on this trip! Other sections offered insight on the nitty-gritty of the island, such as every possible mode of transportation, expected costs, etcetera. I also was able to view Lonely Planet's Santorini chapter and found it fell short of the detail provided here. Highly recommend!
Just came back from Santorini and have used this book. It's very useful overall and gives a good idea about what one can do there, but bear in mind that the itinerary is just for several days.
Great, well written book. Easy to plan trips and feel confident that you will have a good experience. Great seller.
Concise and to the point. One bit of information was incorrect. Franco's bar plays classical music not jazz...still it was a veeery pleasant place to spend and couple hours.
We didn't use the entire guide, but found two serious errors in the few sections we did. First, we looked all over the Red Beach area for the Aeolos Taverna. According to the guide, "The local favorite is Taverna Aeolos, and you can't miss it on the way to Red Beach on foot or by boat." The restaurant is no where near Red Beach, as we found out after our 3 mile hike from Red Beach and asking numerous locals how to get there. The food is excellent, but it is on the other side of the island from Red Beach, with caldera views. The second issue we had with the book was the mis-information regarding admissions to the museums. The book states your entrance fee to the Akrotiri Museum also covered your entrance to the Museum of Prehistoric Thera and the Archaeological Museum in Thera. Wrong! Both require separate fees, albeit not much, but frustrating when you think you have it covered.
